Manufacturing Manager (JO 110202)
Our client is a leader in the design and manufacture of instrumentation and machinery. Expansion creates an opportunity for a manager to handle in-house production and vendors building systems including a wide variety of Printed Circuit Boards, sensors, packaging, communications systems, and mechanisms. You will handle scheduling, performance evaluations, training, procedures, quality and process optimization. This firm does a combination of specialty projects and standard product manufacturing so some job shop experience will be helpful. You will address a variety of customer needs to fulfill specialty instrumentation for research, industry and defense.
Requires: A BS and ten or more years experience in production / manufacturing management. Good vendor management skills and familiarity with a wide variety of materials and assembly, fabrication, testing, and quality standards is needed here. You will be good at Management-by-walking around and build close working relationships with engineering, production and vendor personnel.
Salary: Starting salary in the $100 to $125 K/yr. range.
Process Engineering Manager (110203)
Hands-on Process Engineering Manager to lead four departments including Assembly, Test, ISO/Q, and manufacturing engineering. You will work closely with design to insure manufacturability of very close tolerance machined assemblies (.001). This company manufactures much of the content in-house to insure high standards of quality and precision. You will work closely with NC machining, assembly and testing to optimize equipment, tooling, and processes.
Requires: A BS in Engineering and 10 + years experience in the development and application of efficient tooling and processes for precision assemblies. Excellent communications skills and the ability to prioritize projects are keys to success.
Salary to ~$90K/yr.
